Alfreton Town, Sat 10th Oct, 3:00PM (A)
This weekend our U10 boys team are travelling over to the Isle of Man to represent our great town and club at the same time as the Men’s first team.
A massive thank you to the boots on the ground in Isle of Man, Gary McAuley for helping to organise the fixtures and Lee Dixon of FC Isle of Man for making the lads weekend even more special by allowing them to be Mascots for the game on Saturday, a penalty shootout at half time and tickets for the hospitality lounge, its going to be a weekend to remember for them!
The boys will be playing four games across the weekend, one on the Saturday & a mini tournament on the Sunday. Details for the games are below:
Saturday game: Bury FC vs Douglas & District, 3pm kick-off (50 minute game) Henry Bloom School, Douglas, IM4 4AQ. (10 minute walk to the Bowl Stadium)
Sunday games: Bury FC vs Laxley | Douglas Athletic | Corinthians, 11am kick-off (Approx 1 Hour), The Bowl Stadium, Douglas, IM2 1AD
All games are free entry, it would great for any Bury fans on the island to go down and show their support to the boys during their games.
We also would like to thank everyone that has helped this trip happen by donating to the teams GoFundme, sharing and getting the word out, notably the first team management staff, players, members of the board and volunteers. It really does mean a lot. You can still donate via the link below:
