What is the FSSB?
The Football Supporters’ Society of Bury is a democratic, not-for-profit organisation, run by and for the fans of Bury Football Club.
What does the Society own?
Through membership, the FSSB society controls 100% of Bury Football Club (2019) Ltd.
Who can become a member?
Anyone 16 or older can become a member. All members have 1 vote on all aspects that are put to a members vote such as electing the FSSB board.
What legal requirements must FSSB follow?
FSSB must comply with the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and its registered rules, including submitting annual returns and accounts to the FCA.
How much does an FSSB membership cost?
Membership is £5 per month or £60 per year. We provide a strictly voluntary option to purchase or renew membership at £65 per year or £5.50 per month in which voluntary extra amount will cover our platform, Fanbase’s, transaction fees so that your full membership fee goes to the Society to support the work done in the community and football club.
