Harrogate Town, Tue 20th Oct, 7:45PM (A)
We are pleased to announce Leon Mike and Stephen ‘Sas’ Sheil as joint managers of the newly formed U23 team who will play in the Lancashire Football League West Division this season.
Leon (pictured right), 41, has had a career in football, playing both at professional level and non-league, before moving into coaching. Sas, 42, (pictured below) was a teammate of Leon at Mossley AFC in the mid-2000s and has a proven track record of success managing junior teams and development squads.
Together they bring a wealth of experience in local football and were selected from a highly qualified and experienced list of applicants for the position.
We are delighted to welcome them to the club as they build a playing squad for the season ahead and the first game next month. Games will be played on weekday evenings (typically kicking off at 7.45pm). Home games will be played at the all-weather facility at the Manchester College (Openshaw Campus) and our preferred evening for home games is Monday.
Fixtures are due to begin in early September, with full details available via the FA Full-Time website accessed HERE.
Welcome Leon and Sas and we wish you the very best for the coming season with this new team for the club.
