We are thrilled to announce the signing of experienced defender Scott Duxbury, who joins the Shakers as the first addition of the summer, subject to league & FA approval.
A versatile and accomplished left-back who can also operate at centre-back, brings a decade of non-league experience and a winning pedigree to Gigg Lane.
The 30-year-old joins the Shakers after two seasons with Radcliffe, where he made 50 appearances last season, including 42 starts.
Duxbury is no stranger to success – he was part of the Stockport County side that secured the National League North title and has featured for a number of clubs including Warrington Rylands, Spennymoor Town, Boston United, AFC Fylde, Chorley and Northwich Victoria.
His arrival signals a statement of intent from the club, adding quality and leadership to the squad ahead of the upcoming season.
On joining the Shakers, Scott said:
