Djavan Pedro Signs Permanently

We are delighted to confirm the permanent signing of Djavan Pedro from Buxton FC for an undisclosed fee, subject to FA approval.

DJ joined the Shakers on loan last month, making his debut in the away fixture at Colne.

He has scored seven goals in his opening nine games. Including in three out of his opening four home games at Gigg Lane.

Manager, Dave McNabb commented: “As soon as a permanent move became a possibility it was a no brainer. DJ has settled into the squad really well since joining on loan.

“He’s a player we spoke to in the summer and have tracked for a number of years.

“DJ can play in a number of positions and gives us even more quality at the top end of the pitch.
