Bamber Bridge, Sat 7th Nov, 3:00PM (A)
After a hard fought draw against Avro mid-week, we make the short trip to Bamber Bridge this weekend.
The draw mid-week means The Shakers remain 10th in the league, six points adrift from play-offs, with two games in hand.
Anthony Johnson’s side will be hoping to regroup against a struggling Bamber Bridge side, who currently sit bottom of the league.
They remain winless since the 12th September, when they beat Alfreton Town at home.
In Opposition – Bamber Bridge
Nicknamed ‘The Brig’, the club was formed in 1952, and merged with Walton-Le-Dale in 1974.
In 1995-96, the club won promotion from the Northern Premier League Premier Division to the conference, though they were denied the opportunity due to ground grading requirements.
The team ushered in the millennium by reaching the FA Cup second round and moving to their current stadium, Sir Tom Finney Stadium, in the same year.
The club is entirely fan owned and is fully owned by local supporters and community groups.
