Over the October half term, Bury FC Community Sports Trust proudly ran yet another successful holiday club in partnership with the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).
Over a fantastic four days, children aged 4 to 16, from the local community enjoyed a brilliant programme of football, fun activities and nutritious meals as they made the most of their time away from school.
The camp was once again a massive success, giving children the opportunity to make new friends, develop their football skills, and even have the chance to win prizes such as match tickets for a Bury FC home game. Our partnership with HAF also meant we could continue to provide support to local families during the holidays.
The holiday club also welcomed a special visitor, Bury FC Women’s first-team player Jade Parker, who met all the children and joined in with the sessions. Jade’s visit was a great addition to the holiday club, with the children enjoying the chance to see her skills in action and spend time with a member of the women’s first team.
We’d like to thank Genus Recycling for their continued support and valued sponsorship of our Holiday Clubs. Also big thank you to our fantastic coaches, partners and volunteers who helped make October Holiday Club a success.
We’ve had a brilliant time and are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for our next holiday club at Christmas!
