After a stunning 7-0 win against Ilkeston on Saturday, Anthony Johnson’s side will be hoping to continue their fine form against Hyde United this Bank Holiday Monday.
A quick turnaround from our Saturday game, The Shakers will make the short trip over to Ewen Fields.
Our opponents come off the back of a thrilling 4-4 draw away at Bamber Bridge on Saturday.
Players to have represented both clubs include Andy Bishop, Tom Pratt and Harry Bunn.
In Opposition – Hyde United
Founded in 1885, Hyde United were dealt their most humiliating defeat in their first two years, losing 26-0 to Preston North End in the FA Cup.
In the 1887-1888 season, Hyde met Newton Heath (now Manchester United), with the local press referring to the game as the unofficial championship of Manchester.
Hyde adopted their nickname, The Tigers, in the 1960s, becoming founding members of the Northern Premier League in the same year.
Hyde have reached as high as the National League, and as low as the Northern Premier League Division One North in the last fifteen years.
Admission & Tickets
Although the match is not all-ticket, tickets are available online for Bury FC supporters to help ease congestion and speed up entry at the Away turnstiles.
Tickets can be purchased in advance via Fanbase.

Parking/Travel: The Hyde United main car park will be restricted to players, officials, sponsors and reserved mobility spaces.
The adjacent Leisure Centre car park will also have limited availability, as the Centre will remain open for its own customers. Supporters are therefore encouraged to park towards Hyde Town Centre and walk the approximately 10 minutes to the ground.
Alternatively, the regular 201 bus service from Manchester, via Hyde Bus Station, stops near the ground on Mottram Road.
There is also a train service from Manchester to Newton for Hyde, with the stadium approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.
